Abstract

This research is the short ethnographic survey on the visitation of Muslim aulia (saint)Beket in contemporary Kazakhstan. In this research, I tried to show that Beket`s authority is based on the three major elements which have an important meaning for the local and saint`s followers. Author indicates that about connections of Beket with the sacred families of Central Asia, connection with the two spiritual guides, the first one was Shopan ata, a Sufi spirit or uwaisi and the second one is the reals, Sufi master, from Urgench named Muhammadjon Baqirgani.
