Public and legal activities of the lawyer S. Kadyrbayev

Abstract

This article examines the activities of the lawyer, translator Seidazym Kulmukhameduly Kadyrbayev, his training and academic performance under the tsarist government, who received a pedagogical education, began his career as a translator in the legal system, and also examines the connection of this period, when the traditional way of life of the Kazakh people was exposed. His career advancement, investigated with the help of archival data. A review of the scientific literature was made for a more detailed study of the topic of the socio-political life and activities of Seidazym Kadyrbayev.  A comparative analysis was made of information from archives and scientific literature of Russia and Kazakhstan. The results of the analysis reveal facts from the life of Seidazym Kadyrbayev that were unknown to the public, as well as bring consistency to the work. It was also revealed that friendship with the Kazakh intelligentsia was the basis for its further development and cooperation with political forces aimed at protecting the political and civil interests of the people at the beginning of the XX century, during the revival of political activity in the empire. The article assesses the role of Kadyrbayev as an active member of the political organization "Alash-Orda" and his ability to advance in the legal field, to show himself as a competent and qualified employee, despite the lack of special legal knowledge, he also contributed to the legal protection of the illiterate population, translating several works in the field of jurisprudence into Kazakh.
