The way, paved by the academician

Abstract

Many questions and problems related to the future of the people are raised and analyzed primarily by representatives of the intelligentsia, including in university classrooms. In this regard, the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov, one of the largest universities in the country, which today marks 25 years, including one of the structural divisions of the University, the Department of Philosophy, stands out. Philosophy is of a great specific importance for the modern humanity thinking culture, forming of the critical attitude to the social outlook  of the country, contributing to the widening of the spiritual world view of the learners and building of the national self-consciousness, spiritual modernization of the nation. Philosophy, having become one of the main social-humanitarian disciplines, studied at the higher educational and professional establishments, from the very first day of the existence of our university has been contributing to the development of our youth. Three academics of the National academy of sciences, Abdildin J.M., Garifolla Yessym and Nurmanbetova D.N., are working at the department of philosophy, social sciences faculty. Besides, around two dozens of doctors and candidates of sciences are working at the department, which proves a high potential and professional qualifications of the staff. Currently, the chair is headed by the doctor of Philosophy, professor Kulshat Agibayevna Medeuova. In the present article it deals on the work of the academic teaching staff of the department and, in particular, on the undertakings of  the academic, thinker, writer, educator and public figure , doctor of Philosophy, academic of the National academy of sciences Garifolla Yessym. Since 2013 the chair of Philosophy has been successfully working on the implementation of the scientific and research ideas, creative and methodological  work, the basis of which was laid by the academician Garifolla Yessim. It is worth noting, that coming to the department of Philosophy after his work in the Senate Garifolla Yessim got excellent opportunities to structure and systemize all his creative searches and ideas, on which he had been reflecting all his life, having elaborated his own concept “Jaqsy Qazaq”, linked directly to the national idea “Mangilik El”. In his concept is presented the notion of the category “Jaqsy Qazaq”, regarded from the image position, and seven steppes of its achievement. It should be also mentioned, that these seven stages have been  developed in the curriculum and are being taught in the frames of the education programs “Philosophy”, “Cultural studies” as elective courses.
