Deportation of representatives of ethnic groups to Kazakhstan and their prominent figures who made a significant contribution to the country's development

Abstract

The article reflects the informational and research bases of the study of deportation to Kazakhstan applied by the Soviet totalitarian system as a repressive measure against certain ethnic groups of the population. The source and historiographical base of the problem of the deportation of peoples to Kazakhstan is analyzed. The main documents with data on peoples deported to Kazakhstan during the years of mass political repressions are shown in chronological order. The specific features of the totalitarian regime and the impact of deportation on the lives of specific people, as well as on individual ethnic groups, regions and the country as a whole are considered. The article also provides information on the work done during the years of independence on the full rehabilitation of deported peoples. The adopted normative legal acts and scientific developments devoted to the topic of deportation are studied. Currently, a number of dissertations, written books, articles, published memoirs of the victims of deportation, information published on electronic portals and libraries about prominent figures of ethnic groups deported to Kazakhstan, who left a special mark in the history of the country, are protected. Reviewing the biographies of some of the most prominent representatives of these ethnic groups, the author tried to show the results of their activities and their contribution to the development of the country as an example for modern youth. In conclusion, the importance of continuing work in this direction is justified, the successful results of which will contribute to the further development of inter-confessional and inter-ethnic harmony as one of the necessary conditions for the implementation of the policy of preserving the unity of the population and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
